If I could but change the world
What a world it would be.

No one dies of hunger or despair
In loneliness
Leave behind the perception that no one cared enough

No child cries from fear or cold
In sickness
Leave the world where cures are sold to the rich

No compassion is hidden from view
In shame
Concealed from derisive laughter

All laughter is joyous and glad
Rejoicing
In love and wonderment

Tears of joy and sorrow
Flow freely
In equal measure for all to share

All are valued equally
Revered
For the contribution they bring

And Love.

Love is all encompassing
Shared
Timeless, abundant, transcending.
