Be Aware
As we evolve and grow in self-awareness different layers of attachment shed themselves, some slower than others. We find that the person we once were is less and less like who we now find ourselves to be. There are great joys and great frustrations along this very personal journey, each with a message written just for us.
For some the highs and lows may seem spontaneous and uncontrolled, summoned by accident or the right set of hard to repeat circumstances. As with mastering anything, practice and discipline can show us that the way of self-awareness is a state that can be consistently maintained.
Our Higher Self and I AM connection are always there to assist, if we but ask for it.
Recently I spent time with Cheryl Driskell, a noted, learned and published spiritual individual. Through her energy work and guidance I was able to call upon my connection to the infinite with specific and pointed questions, receiving specific and clear answers.
The point to me in this was, to continually cultivate and be aware of our connection to the Infinite. It never leaves us, we only leave it, when we become distracted by "priorities" and the mundanities (?) of our lives.
My recent experiences have me working on developing the habit of querying interactions before they occurr with questions like "Is this experience for my highest good?", "How should I interact with this person for my highest good?".
Even the best players in the world of sports have coaches and mentors. My feelings leading up to finding and meeting with Cheryl were that I needed a mentor to speed my development and continous expansion of awareness.
Dont you?

Very Ramana-esque :-)
thanks, there is nothing more rewarding than pointing out the obvious, seemingly for my readers benefit, but ultimately for mine too :)
