To All Things A Season

Everything in a life, each action, every experience and relationship of each person pass through distinct, but not always apparent, seasons.

To relationships and experiences we are familiar with, the seasons are easier to recognise. Those that are recognised too often may be a soul cry to grow beyond that experience and open up to something new.

We are of course experiential beings, living in a field that allows unlimited creativity and creation, given a moment by moment unfolding and unending opportunity to experience and create anew any and all aspects of our experience.

Knowing and recognising the seasons; spring, summer, fall, winter of each relationship and perspective, allows the traveller to prepare to shed old skin and expose a newly distilled layer of truth and experiential knowledge to the field, the playground.

Sometimes there are those that cling too long to the comfort of summer, when seeing the impending fall season in a given experience or the approaching chill and "death" of winter.

Letting go reinforces the lessons learned through the Law of Detachment. Knowing when to detach from relationships and experiences that hold some of us back, can offer trememdous learning opportunities and insight into our personal upbringing, education, values and so on.

Knowing the seasons and recognizing them in our lives and experiences, lets us call upon our phoenix-alter-ego at the right times, to begin the next cycle of rebirth and get comfortable in a new skin, as well as prepare for new experiences.
