“There are no extra pieces in the universe. Everyone is here because he or she has a place to fill, and every piece must fit itself into the big jigsaw puzzle.”
~Deepak Chopra
Sometimes we may wish to not be associated with our body, mind or life. Things may appear too hard to deal with or too stressful.
Although most will freely agree in principle that they influence or create their days, there are many of you that are too easily caught up in your details, the un-reality of what surrounds you.
Not that we consciously choose to avoid an enlightened path. No, most people would love nothing more than to devote themselves to a life dedicated to expanding their being and experience. Yet many of us look upon the turmoils and distractions of daily life as something that pulls away from those ideals, rather than move toward them as the result of our creativity to this point.
Everything surrounding you now, your relationships, the details of your life, your stresses, tribulations, joys and sorrows are all as a result of what you have previously created. Whether you created it through your faith in your religion, or a spiritual compass, or simply declared it to be so; you are the instigator.
Perhaps you feel that you associate the "bad" parts of your existence with your mind and body, that your soul had no part in this creativity however all your parts are your own. Your spirit is right along with you, even though you may override it more than you like, it is always there. Unlike the ego, it will not scream or jump up and down to be heard, rather waiting patiently for you to listen instead of just hear.
Todays post is a gentle reminder. There is no seperation between who you are in daily life, at work, at school, or being a parent. There is no juxtaposition between this and your spiritual self. You are all one, integrated, all the time. Whether you are volunteering at the local food bank, screaming at someone in traffic or fantasizing about the new receptionist in the office. Whether you are quietly contemplating the great Universe and its unlimited potential and perfection.
You are always you.
