On The Path, Or?

How was your experience of today?

Were you on the path, at least some of the time?

When did you fall off?

And when you did, did you dust yourself off, recognize the experience without beating yourself up and continue ... onward and upward?

Did you remember to pause and enjoy the wildflowers floating in the breeze while you waited patiently for that stoplight to turn?

Or, say I love you and feel it?

Did you remember to be grateful for simply being able to get out of bed, brush your teeth and wolf down that bowl of instant cereal?

Or, wonder about long lost acquaintance and actually dig out their phone number?

Did you stop to feel the appreciation of those around you for all that you are in their lives, or allow your ego to drive that conversation into the ground?

What is it in you that you are thankful for?

What will you allow tomorrow to bring?

I wonder, did you even read this far?

I read and I liked it but believe it or not almost none of it applies to me personally. I'm in an extreme situation.

So I'd just second everything you say here and remind people to enjoy things while they can. And in general, the more you take it for granted, the more wonderful it is.

Thanks for stopping by.

I looked at your site, blog to determine what a man may mean by extreme situation and came to the conclusion that you know you are in it because of who you are and have become.

Its easy for me to sit on the outside and say that - I have zero experience with the matter but experientially through my own suffering and that of others close to me, I know we arrive there to be better off.

I didnt get your perspective on "in general, the more you take it for granted, the more wonderful it is". Perhaps you would explain that, because at face value I disagree.

Blessings
